Petzl Fly Harness

An ultralight alpine and skimo climbing harness for the racer and ski mountaineer counting grams on the skin track, the Petzl Fly weighs 100 g in size M with the removable comfort foam stripped out, or 130 g with the FUSEFRAME foam installed for longer alpine days.

The buckle-free waistbelt uses a patented sliding toggle lock for adjustment, and the leg loops cinch with a girth hitch, which means the harness goes on over skis or crampons without sitting down. Racking is two long horizontal gear loops plus four small vertical loops and two silicone ice screw clippers, all reinforced with HMPE, putting enough capacity on a sub-150 g harness to carry a short alpine rack without resorting to a chest sling.
