Marqueterie de paille is an ancient French finishing technique little known to the general public. More unusual than wood marquetry, it involves hand-covering objects with rye straw veneers.
LC Atelier and Mediteranea, headed respectively by architect Lucrezia Calvi and interior designer Valentina Spano, present an exclusive, refined capsule collection for the table at Milan Design Week 23.
